"According to the classification standards determined by the United Nations international transport regulations, lithium batteries belong to category 9 miscellaneous dangerous goods." Sun Qifei, chief of the second inspection section of Zaozhuang customs, said that in order to ensure the safety of cargo transportation, before the transportation of lithium batteries, the customs needs to conduct on-site inspection on the applicability and standardization of packaging, and can only transport after passing the inspection.

At present, six lithium battery projects with a total investment of more than 5 billion yuan are under construction in Zaozhuang national high tech Zone. Since this year, three lithium battery export enterprises have been added in Zaozhuang customs area.
